Per Sly's advice, ran a cutdown tempo. did 3 miles with goal paces of 6:30,6:20,6:10. I'm so used to positive splitting that even with a first half mile indicating an even split would be in order, I pick it up in order to hit the projected time. I did drop at least ten seconds per mile per mile so that was good. I accidentally pushed the last 400 of the tempo segment a little hard so that last mile was a little quicker than I was planning.
