progression long run at home

Ehh I guess today was my shitty day. Got it out of the way... Plan was a progression long run from Veale. We are starting the taper, so we should all be feeling chipper today. I was kinda pissed most of the workout. Went with everyone minus Peter since hes sick. Went out NP planning to do 3 easy, 3 steady state, and 4 tempo. Felt good on the easy actually, kinda like yesterday. Then me Steel Wyatt and David started the steady state on Shaker at South Park. Was up beat. My shins started to lock up, and my feet were pounding, but I felt like there was nothing I could do about it. Frustrating. I fell off them, and I wasnt happy about that. Turned around at Shaker middle school, then started the tempo after warrensville. THey dropped me since I was feeling pretty bad. Kept cruzing down Shaker, started to feel better at Lee, and really got into a quicker smoother rhythm. I would say I felt good there. Went down fairhill to avoid roots on NP. Cruized until I hit a hole, cranked my ankle, then fell down. It was a decently bad roll, I kinda jogged limped back. Not happy, actually pretty pissed. I was feeling good !!!! Its swollen now good thing I am resting tomorrow. See if I can make it back for thousands on Wed... Still thinking about what Guru said... Ive been through this shit before, I know I can deal with it. I really want to have nothing in me at the end of this season, and really need the time to recoup. Then I will be satisfied.

Tried to stretch while icing, kinda awkward. Still rolled and L7 and dips and pushups. Then went down to ice my ankle... Its weak walking around now. FGood thing regionals is in 2 weeks...
