S 3x300 on 5:00 desc. 100's w/in 300
Hard to capture times on the 100's. I remembered the first 3 100's and I guessed on the last two 300's. But the swimming felt powerful. I felt like I was able to move more water than usual. But I may have been holding my left hand finger too tightly together because they cramped by the end of the workout. My focus was on keeping the fingers together, bending the elbow to scoop the water, and rolling.

K 8x50 (15') (med.25, 10 pressouts, sprint 25)
Here I focused on kicking from the glutes and upper legs while relaxing the lower extremities. It didn't seem to make me go any faster, but the legs didn't tire as quickly as usual. The pressouts were no problem.

P 2x500 (15') desc. by 500
My time got screwed up on the first 500 because I lost count and briefly stopped after 450. The pacing on the first 500 was around 80%. I wasn't sure how to pace myself on the second 500 in order to descend, so I ended up swimming about 80% for 400 and then 90% for the final 100

S 8.25 (15') head out 1/2 each 25
I noticed two things; 1) my arms had less reach with my head out; 2) I didn't feel like I was rolling.
