Today I ran indoors @ the YMCA. I felt great. I took today as a race although it wasn't my intention. I just kept going fast b/c I wasn't too phased by it. I started to feel tired @ 3.5, but my pace didn't slow at all. I kept getting faster! I am not putting a time in the log b/c I am not sure how accurate the dist. is. The track says 16 laps to a mile and you would have to believe it b/c they would need to know the actual distance. This track is super fast though and I can't tell if it is short or not. It sure seems 100m for one lap but it doesn't seem to translate well over longer distances. I ran 5 mi. in 27:44 which would give me a 2 min PR if it was accurate. There is no doubt that I would have PR'ed but by that much. I am almost positive that it was short, but I have to go w/ what they tell me the length of the track is. My 5k split was 17:13. Overall great run even if not really a 5 miler.
