Exercise Type: Run

ran with david for our long run around noon. we went out to forest hills. it was pretty nice out when we started, sunny, and not too windy. throughout the run it became cloudy and more windy though. it was a really good run, i felt better than i do after most races, and that made me happy. still need to work on how tight my hamstrings have been since track started though. anyway, david graciously participated in my progression at the end of my long run that coach is having me do. she wants me to finish my long runs last 3 miles at 7:00, 6:30, and 6:00. she is having me do this since we are going to keep my mileage around 55, even though i will run a 10k outdoor, and adjust mileage based on how indoor plays out. we ran a good majority of the run around 7 minute pace, so the 7:00 section wasn't much of a pickup, but we tried to pick it up for the last two, and i think we did, but we were running into the wind, and didn't have official markers for miles, so it was more an effort thing. real good run though.
