Started practice a little later today since we got into the track early. Talked to Jess, and I just need to play it day by day now. It is feeling better, but it isnt time to run yet. It just takes time, and with a back its just so tough... So coach made me a workout on the bike. It was pretty good.
15 warm up, 4x40sec hard, 30rest, 2x80sec hard, 1:00 rest, 6x2:40 hard, 1:00 rest, 4x40sec hard, 30sec rest, 10 cool down. Burned a lot of calories, and went pretty far. I bumbed up the resistance on the hard sections. Back felt perfectly fine on the bike, but I guess it should.
Went down to the track to watch everyone finish up after their workout. We had the whole track to oursleves. Looked like fun. I would rather be outside doing water barriers though... Patience...
Went down to lift brielfy. Wasnt ready at all I need to keep out of there till my back feels better. Did a few arm stuff. Got yelled at for missing last week too. I didnt know they were checking our folders...
Back up, stretch roll L7. Talked about politics, which was kinda fun. Did some random abs (I dont remember what, it was kinda pathetic) then got the ice on my back. One day at a time. Living the moment.
Kinda packing it in for outdoor. My goal is to debut at the Greater Cleveland Championships and get it done in outdoor like I did last season. I can feel indoor slipping away, but at the same time im landing into outdoor stronger than ever.
