Another test drive today. Today was the "big" day, 4 weeks later, where I thought I would be ready to go. I should have known that it is gonna take more than a day to get back into it. Again, I have mixed feelings about the run.

Got ultra sound earlier in the day. Then talked to coach briefly, since I have been kinda drifting the past few weeks. She knows we still have time, and do what we can. Went through EFT again. I failed the second part, which is very rare... what does that mean??

Got heated before running. Sadly, it felt soo good to get dressed knowing I was going to go outside... Out onto Van Horn. It was super muddy, but I didnt give a fuck. Nine laps, about 2 miles. Teams were walking in to the UAA Swim meet. I felt fine actually, pain at 2/10 I would say. I could feel it, but it was just achy... Not on the constriction level it felt like a few weeks ago. Dont really know what to say. It was satisfying and disappointing at the same time, much like these past few weeks have been. Its all worth it for that one race though. I know that.

Inside, didnt feel like doing anything else... Maybe a day off would be a good thing. Anyways just stretched static 2, roll, L7 hips then abs while watching the jump off Btw coach anthony and obi... iced during the guys doing hurdles... In a mopy mood then :(.

Bike a workout tomorrow, then do another run to see how that is sat, then swim sunday? then every other day next week??? No idea at this point, just go with the flow...

Kinda in a grumpy mood, but snapped out of it, because I know the only way to get to where I want to be is on a positive path, and I know I am going to have more fun along the way than thinking negative. I have that choice right now, much like the choice in the middle of a race, to pour on the gas or to give up. Im making that right choice now like I should be.
