Weird weather we are having. It was chilly and rainy this morning, but amazingly beautiful this afternoon. Actually ran comfortably in shorts and tshirt. It was just like a nice spring day... Practice times were debated, so I kinda just did my own thing. I am on my own schedule until spring break i think. So I went out alone on one of my patented routes. The first 10 minutes, my back was sore, but after awhile it got better and I couldnt really feel it. It was nice to be out there. Had a few pessimistic moments, but overall I got out of them and got back into the zone. Still feeling sick, so it was kinda hard to run because of that. did a few striders when I got back, felt odd and foreign, but doable I guess.
After I got back, went down to lift and do some rehab.
Talked to Jess, and she reaffirmed that it is gonna be weak and sore for a while. The thing is that I know what painful and good sore is, and we just need to play that game. It is no longer painful sore, it is getting stronger and better. Its some thing to live with. Pain is temporary, but your finishing time posted on the internet is forever.
Stretch, roll, L7 (with out my watch) and some abs and a good Ice after. Legs are feeling pretty good, just achy in the back thats all really.
