Ran in a jacket since I forgot my shirt! Also ran in the M101 because I forgot shoes! Sheesh!
Ran over the bridge to EWEB, adding a bit down river to get in some more min/strides. Went into the tempo, focusing on foot strike AND trunk: I noticed in the clinic today doing drills that I was trunk L when I pushed on the L (lateral shifted L) - so I worked on getting R during L push-off.
Felt clunky and tired first mile but still split 5:34; 2nd mile felt a little off but focused on the pull/foot beneath COM.
Ran 17:16; a solid effort, considering fatigue level and heat. 5:32/mi.
Massage post-work w/Kelly. No significant R hip/pelvic soreness, which is good!
