I felt like coming out here again this week instead of Osborn because it has more shade and better scenery. I ran watchless and felt okay.

About 7 miles in, I saw a baby deer, probably born this spring, on the trail ahead of me scamper off further down the trail. I went around a turn, and saw the deer bolting straight at me away from some guy coming from the other direction. The deer freaked out when it saw me and slipped on some dirt trying to turn. I stopped running, not sure what to do and feeling as though I'd rather not run into the deer. It got up and scampered off into the woods as quickly as it could. The poor thing really freaked out.
