Comments:
Nice and cool weather today. Didnt really know what to expect running today, how my legs would feel. I talked to Jess today, so she knows whats up. I just headed out like normal, trying to run normal. Legs felt very heavy today actually... Ill take it though, because I felt good today. Shin started out tight like yesterday, then loosened up to close to normal actually, and it didnt feel bad at all. Not cured, but good today :) Did a new loop today, ran through campus down Commonwealth, then did a loop around the football stadium. Its nice and flat and grassy over there. Came back up through campus then added on on the access rd. I was thinking about peoples mascots on the rd. Still staying sharp and ontop of those. Out of the apartments and back to the school. Felt slow overall today but shin was wayyyy better.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, shins&calves, abs, roll, ice
Dem bugs were out when I was stretching at the school. got bitten up a bit. Good stretch though. Tried out the new shin exercises that Little Joe hooked me up with. Good shit. Ill look for more online. Did the wall raises and step outs 2 sets x 12. Then calf raises 2 sets x15. Jess said focusing on the calves is important. I want to throw that stuff in every otherday along with hips and ankle walks.
There were a bunch of Hawks outside chillin near our building. I heard that there is a nest ontop of the library. 4 or 5 of them were all perched ontop of our dorm. I actually got up pretty close to it. Molly and I were chatting out infront of the dorm after she finished. As we were walking in, one of the hawks came swooping down and flew into the first floor window! Holy Shit! It bounced off into the bush, came crawling out and shook it off like a champ. I am really glad he didnt get hurt. Im no vet... Still, it that shit was crazy...
I was gonna wake up and swim this morning, but I was sooo tired when my alarm went off. I think ill hit the pool friday and xtrain too.
