Comments:
Kevin and I headed out right after work. It was cooling down, I think its gonna rain on Uhmericas Birthday. Might ruin out plans, but Im still gonna watch the fireworks! Headed out on trails since my shin was getting tight today. I rolled it out before hand and it started to feel better. Up to North Amherst. Cut into Mill Creek Park and there are some trails that hook up to the pond. Very nice we went out on those and then past the pond to the RFT. We went all the way on it, actually following the markers. Haha we made it further than before! I am very happy we found the rest of the trail, it looks promising. Went out 22 mins then headed back. We slowed down on the trails a lot, but we were going right on pace everywhere else, so it evened out. Felt good once we got going shin wasnt as tight as I though it would be. Game time decision the xtrain tomorrow...
Essentials: Stretch, L7, shins&calves, abs, roll, Ice
The playground was taken over by either freshmen on orientation or high schoolers. They looked like bullies, so I went and stretched bymyself in the field :(. Decent trying to get the shin loose. Besides the shin splints legds have been feeling good, not as quick and spiffy as I would hope, but getting there. Time to throw in striders I think.
If I am not mistaken, today marks one year since I fucked up my ankles... That too has been a long and tough journey. The things I do to run...
