set out by myself at slower than usual pace. didn't really have any sort of plan for what i was going to do. got up to north park, and just past bellfield i heard a voice yelling. it was perisa! he said he watched to see how fast i was running before joining me, because he didnt want to slow me up, haha. picked a good day to go pretty easy, because i felt much better after he joined me. it was probably as combo of me slowing down from the usual and him speeding up a bit, but i dont think it was anything bad for him. we went around the second lake, in reverse. might be the first time i've ever done it. apparently its paul's usual run. it was really good to talk to him and keep my mind off the real crappy runs i probably would have thought about had i been on my own. we talked pretty much the whole time. he says he likes to get on runs when he gets a bit stressed with the studying. glad i dont have to do that much studying! anyway, not too worried about the past few days. i still hit mileage, and its the middle of the summer, still a while to go. and i remember what happened to me after my near breakdown in track, afterwards was when everything finally clicked. no one ever said it was going to be easy, and i never said i wanted it that way.
did 4 striders on the football field when i got back to round up to ten. planks. pushups 2 by 35. 3 by 25 dips.
