RFT

July 10, 2012 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Solo run. They were heading out at 7. I wanted to go just a little earlier for back up. I hit my knee on a chair yesterday pretty hard, and it was swollen last night and this morning. It hurt bending, so I thought that I might need to go and xtrain. I wanted enought time to get to the gym if that did happen. Ended up not being a problem, felt fine while running. Out to the RFT. Felt tired and shins were super tight going out. Sun was still out... Went to the water treatment plant, looking for the rest of the path, and I couldnt find it! I need to go back out there with Kevin to find it. Turned around then. COming back felt great got it into a good groove and felt comfortable and quick. Added on 0.5 in the back woods. I thought I was going 7... add on another day I guess. Weather was perfect when I finished, and legs felt good.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, hips, roll, pushups, ice

Molly and Kevin were heading out as I got back. Stretched in front, the grass was really dry and scratchy. Good excuse to go back into the Air Conditioning. Recently I have been getting more and more excited about school starting. I know I am not in very good shape yet, but I dont think it matters too much, since my goal is to be in the best shape in October. Overall, its an odd situation, since I cant wait for the season to start and for the fun to start, but I also dont want the summer to end, because this is the good life... Its all good either way I guess...

Pace has got to be off, I think I didnt stop my watch when I was climbing down the hill looking for the rest of the trail. I was over 7 out and sub 7 on the way back.
