Eeeek I haven't missed this many running-logs ever! I'm leaving Friday morning for Tahoe, so I figure it's time to say bye to running-log for awhile (probably/definitely will be checking this quite frequently.....) but I'll catch up from where I left off. The doctor said the lateral and mid foot is sprained. I was in a brace but that hurt running or with movement so now I'm taping and using the brace for walking. It's not too pleasant. Not really running much, usually 30 minutes or less if that. But I'll cross train my butt off and get back sometime, hopefully soon. Even though this summer wasn't perfect, I've still laid a decent base, so I've got to trust that a bit. The dizziness the past few weeks is because my body has been having trouble retaining salt and water, which drops the blood pressure (even more than usual with running), so I'm starting a medicine that regulates that. So hopefully that should be going up soon too.
It's not an ideal situation going into preseason, and I'm a bit nervous, but it'll work out. I'm sad to go (and missing the alumni run) but you all are going to have SUCH a wonderful season. I'm so excited to hear about all of the workouts and the races and the shindings. And if there's some not so good stuff, or if anyone needs anything, don't hesitate to call or message =).
