Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Woke up surprisingly early. It was misty and rainy (it was supposed to rain today) but still kinda warm. I had enough time to eat and everthing which was good. We were all long running up Abrahams Hollow (like usual). A bunch of people were going long, but I was looking to do what I did for my long run last week, between 12-13 or around 100 minutes. Again big group headed out. We stuck together for most of the run. The rain started coming down right as we were going up the hill. I was in the back kinda, didnt really mind we were going pretty slow. We all stopped at the 3.5 mile mark to get water, and some people were turning around. I kept going out to around 50 minutes, further than I have been on the road, still nice out there. the rain was coming down and my glasses were getting foggy, so I took them off for a little. Took a group of freshmen back to camp, we picked up the pace a little which was nice. I was feeling good there. Shins have been great lately and I felt smooth in the long run. I took it really easy down the hill, got gapped by the pack, but whatever. Didnt quite get 100 mins, but still a good long run I was tired at the end.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, ice in creek, abs
I got right to stretching, a lot of people went to go eat breakfast. I eat while icing. We all regrouped and did a pretty pitiful abs session in the wet grass. Didnt feel that sore the rest of the day, legs kinda tight. Watched my ankles when we went swimming and hiking at Kinzua, which was awesome. Also in the corn maze at the corn festival. They love us there.
