Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Spent a lot of the day at Veale, which was awesome. Looking forward to that. We did the meeting in the morning, then got down to the locker room to go for a run. Not that many people joined in, but we still had a large group. I think a lot of the freshmen had to get to orientation stuff. We went out East Blvd all the way to the turn off to Bratenahl. We split off along the way, but it ended up being me Corey and David heading back on MLK. It was very nice out today, perfect running weather. Back in Cleveland. Felt ok, Achilles lower calf a little sore overall. Talked to Jess today (Yea!) and she said I might be workoing my calf too much, and from all the transitioning. Hey hey same old story but I still feel positive. A good platform for me to work off of. I also feel like I have a lot to pass on this season to runners for the future.
Essentials: Stretch, shins&calves, L7, abs, ice
Did 4 striders with Corey on the field, which actually felt pretty good. I was suprised. I guess we have the time trial tomorrow, which could be interesting since I havnt done it since freshman year. I am just going to go and do waht I can now, because that will put me in the best training group for my season. I havnt run hard or fast in a while, but the season is here and it is time to start now. Stretch and ice all went well. Tired from all the other errands we did today, and wading through freshman at Luetner, which was a mob scene. The mega class is upon us...
This week was kinda down mileage. I still felt good and had a good time at camp. I have my meeting with Coach tomorrow, and I know what I need to say and what I need to do. I am excited for anything and everything, cause I am doing what I love. I think staying around what I did last season is good (55-60). It takes two to make a plan, but one to execute it.
