Of course Gene said yesterday we were doing distance anddd we didn't. Didn't even get a god damn warmup and he goes, "Lets go to the lake and time a lap around there". Really Gene? Fuck that was annoying, ran like a piece of shit no surprise. I mean it basically felt like a tempo run because my legs were sore form yesterday so I wasn't really going anaerobic at all, all aerobic. Ended up hitting 8:19 for the time and felt fine afterwards basically. Then we did the one thing that I fucking hate the most, we did the course but did it in segments so we could show people it. Run a half mile or so, stop and wait for 8 minutes and so on and so on..so annoying. Then we just ran the course all the through from the bridge down to the bottom of Indian. Felt terrible the whole time today basically haha glad to have it over with though. Quite sore.
