Well, this one could have gone much better. Lots of excuses as to why I didn't push during the race (cramp, tired from little sleep plus mileage, lifts, swims, etc.) Bottom line is that I totally bitched out of the race. It felt like a tempo the whole time which is just stupid. If I have to get myself focused for races earlier than the morning of, I'll start doing that but I should have put forth more effort today. Just about the only positive is that I closed the last .7 or so in low 5:00's pace. Roaring helped there but I screwed this one up. Only August still but time is running shorter. I WILL bring my A game next week.
