First MLK tempo

It rained like all day. Like the entire time. But it subsided for practice. So we didn't get rained on... but it was certainly wet because it was so humid.

Did our first tempo. Started out with 6 miles at a pretty easy pace. Had a huge group for the first 4 and then people started breaking off after 4 miles until there were only five or six of us left. Kinda slow on this one. Its fine for a couple miles but I'd like to be in the range. I guess its more a matter of principal for me but I'd like to be in the bounds set by the workout or faster. But never slower. I'm trying out this whole running easier thing, but I still think most of the workout needs to be within the given range. It makes me nervous when we're not in there.
Probs better next week.
Felt good on the accelerations at the track. Felt like I loosened up some. I felt really tight on the tempo. My cardio was fine but me legs were really heavy for most of it. That part kinda sucked.
Lifted after. Tried to go hard.
