Chill sunday long run with CKells and Lil Joe. We watched Bring It On on ABC family before heading out. We all got a lot of good sleep last night and felt refreshed for the long run. Needless to say we still took it out at a slow and very comfortable pace,just getting in the miles. Out NP and Shelburne all the way to the Beachwood community center. They were having a big Labor Day festival with inflatables and bounce houses (I was jealous). Turned on Richmond and came back Shaker and South Park. We kinda cruized on our own most of the run, and chatted a little more on the way back. My bee sting swelled up a lot and it basically is a big lump on my quad. Started to feel real irritated out in Beachwood. Its really itchy. All I can do is ice and eat Vitamin I...
Essentials: Stretch, ankle walks, roll, L7
Stretched out on the lawn then upstairs for the other stuff. Legs feel suprisingly good after yesterday, calves a little tight from the spikes. Good week of workouts though, I can feel myself and believe myself getting faster and stronger. The sleep helped a lot I think. HR was pretty low and relaxed this morning.
Run was mapped to 12 on the dot. We took a detour to get water, and with a little elevation I am gonna round up just a little today. Still good in that 55-60 mpw range.
