Ran with the non-calvin people who are racing Penn-State Behrend.
Best tempo ever. Coach told me to go out at 6:15, wound up off the back at 6 flat through the mile. Ran with Brandon C to a mile and a half. Then I picked it up a tad and ran the last 3.5 miles by myself. It wasn't a problem though because I felt really relaxed. Seemed like all the mileage checkpoints were coming up much sooner than I expected them to be. It was really nice, wasn't pushing at all. I could allow myself to relax and enjoy the crickets chirping which was awesome considering that usually I'm not a fan of tempos at all. I wrapped up the last mile just a hair on the slower side but that was okay because I was already much faster than I've ever tempoed and more relaxed than I've ever tempoed at the same time. Grabbed a cup of water, then headed to the Village for 3x300. Cooldown to Veale.
