Alumni Race: In the cardio room...

Today was alumni, we woke up pretty early to head out to the farm. Felt kinda groggy when I woke up actually... Back is too sore to run today, so I just hung out in the cold, watched some of the race talked to ALumni and helped out coach. It was tough to miss the workout, since it looked pretty hard. To follow my goals and have a smart season, I needed to sit this one out. It was actually really cold today, temp is starting to drop.

We came back from the farm early and I had enough time to go an do the bike workout equivalent. I did a short warm up, then did 4 x 6min hard with 2 min rest. I was supposed to do 5, but I did a little workout yesterday too. It was tough did it in the rowing room, no lights and no Ipod. Had to keep myself focused. Much better than I have been. Still HR doesnt get up nearly as high for a bike workout. Ill have to sub these in until Wednesday or so and see how I feel. Its not that bad now, but I cant miss the races, I am gonna fight through this pain.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll

Got a light stretch in in the locker room. Legs feel great, back does not.
