Comments:
Got to practice a little earlier today since there are no classes. Big group showed up. It was a lot warmer out today that last week, but still pretty nice. I was down at campus all day and a little tired. I didnt want to do the full warm up, but the van was full, so we ran to the parking lot, got a ride to the park, then finished up our warm up at the park. Kinda odd but worked out. After warming up fully did the whole drills then got the workout started.
DId 2 stride outs first. They felt clunky, but I knew I could roll into the workout. We did 6 1000s again. Group was me Wyatt Benny D Drew Dong and Mercer and Paul. We lost a few people along the way, some people were tired today. I felt slower, and was by a few seconds. We had wayyy less rest than last week, and we could feel it. I felt slughish out the gate, but much stronger on the way back. Last one really kicked it up a notch and finished hard. Splits were:
3:06, 3:09, 3:09, 3:07, 3:05, 2:58
Cool down back to veale the whole way. It was very slow and sluggish. I think the heat got to people. Once we got back, we lifted.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, Hammies, abs, Ice bath
Good essentials today. I actually felt pretty good today. Excited to get out and race at conference. I want to get my work done tomorrow so that the next few days are relatively stress free and I can race well. I have been keeping up with my shit and I know what I got to do, so I am happy for that. Its work time like always. Still, the fall season is so amazing and making me happy. Real legit pumpkin sesh at Alyssas house. Lovin it.
