I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather to do my long run today instead of tomorrow when the cold front comes through. I also decided to up the length to 12 and try to push the pace a bit to see if my knee could handle it.

The verdict was actually pretty good. I had minimal knee pain at points but overall it went quite well, especially considering how slow I've been running lately. I am a little disappointed the pace wasn't faster judging by how I felt but then again I've been running really slow lately. This route also has some hills that matter in it so it's tough to really run fast from my apartment anyway.

Again, this is the furthest I've run since August and the lack of knee problems at a decent pace is encouraging in its own right.
