Exercise Type: Bike
Comments:
Odd night last night. We had the banquet, so all the stuff from Cross came up and we had our speeches and stuff. It was tough, I always thought I would have a lot of things to say at the senior speech, but I kinda winged it and just started talking... I guess that was more natural. Words couldnt sum it all up anyways. In the end, I convinced myself how important is to me and how it is a part of my life, and how I will stick to it after graduating from the team. I would love to sustain 30 miles a week, on 4-5 days. Im gonna do it. Still weird things happened. Then, on the way home, the van battery died and we cant start Big Blue... My last ride. Also my left hammy tightened up a lot last night and it is very twinged, feels like a strain. So I had to bike today.
We were gonna drive Big Blue down but it wouldnt jump start... IDK what to do. Joe drove me down and I hit the bikes. I could feel the hammy the whole time, but biking wasnt bad. Switched to the elliptical midway through for a change of pace, and so I could watch the womens bball game. I decided I love watching sports, and since I am going to be at a big D1 school next year, I am going to take every opportunity to watch sporting events. I want to go to every sport at least once a season. After biking hobbled down stairs, still tight to stretch.
Essentials: Stretch, roll, L7, ice
Chippy Benny D and Tony were back from their run, so we stretched there. Chippys brother is on the basketball team at U of R so they were there watching too. Legit. I got a pretty good stretch in I would say. My hips and IT are tight in a good way, sore form yesterday, but my hammy feels terrible. Take the next few days off and work back into it like I always do. The ice after felt very good though.
Delicious burgers at Fribs after. OMG. I should find a scale and weigh myself soon too lol.
