Exercise Type: Bike

No classes today so we had practice in the morning. Its a tradition to have and MLK tempo on MLK day. I came to accept that I wasnt going to be able to handle that since my hammy needs a few more days of rest. Got there on time, even though we couldnt return the van. I headed down to the training room to heat my hammy. On the way down, I tripped a little and fell on my right ankle (the good one) and rolled it. It hurt a fair amount, but mostly it started to swell and get nasty. WTF... welcome to the shit show. I still heated my hammy and tired to watch the ankle. It was still throbing and not feeling good.
Back up then hit the cardio room with Brandon and Austin. Did 10 min warm up, 15 tempo effort, 3 rest, 10 tempo effort, 2 rest, 5 tempo effort, then about 14 cool down. The exact same thing as outside, except for the mileage on the ends. The hard parts were good I felt. Hammy felt great on the bike, and ankle was starting to get puffy... Still for circumstances I got a decent workout. Its not the same as MLK though...
Started stretching a little, then headed down to lift.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, hips, icing
Chris and I had to go to the 145 staff meeting right after lifting, so we went back to veale and did essentials then. They were ok, hammy is feeling much better, but my ankle is feeling pretty crappy. Very very tender, sore and swollen. This will take a few days... Not the best practice, but work with what you got. It was a good streak I didnt have any hiccups during break. So for that I am impressed and thankful. Game time decision tomorrows workout see how I feel.
