Cemetery Fartlek

Team off at the first indoor meet, but I am back training, working to rise up... Haha ankle is still to tender to race and I think another week is good for me for me anyways. I got to sleep in a little, ankle was very sore when I woke up. It takes a while to get moving. I was planning on meeting Tony and Benny D at Veale so we could do a work out. Walked down in the slush (it was pretty cold). No Tony, and Austin was biking so Benny D and I went out on a little workout. Not to tough or strenous but a nice up tempo day. We warmed up to the cemetery then did 10x 1:30 on 1:30 off. Talked during the on sections but the felt quick, overall pace was good, not super hard though. The cemetary was in pretty good condition as well. Ankle worked into it and felt good. Legs were good otherwise too. Cooled back down to veale then added on a little inside to make mileage.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, ankle rehab

Stretched in Veale, no equipment room :(. Gonna fit in other stuff here and there. Gotta warm up before icing though... Its pretty cold out today. Also started doing some ankle rehab, gonna get on the bands for the next few weeks to work on the strengthening so the tenderness goes away.
