BW mid-February meet today. Ran the 800, and I think it went pretty well. Since the meet was going so late, we kind of had to guess when to warm up, and we ended up starting warming up maybe 10-15 minutes before we really needed to.
The race itself was really good. After the first lap, I looked around, and realized that there was nobody behind me, and everyone was in front of me. So, I started turning it up a notch. I started passing people, and kept up even splits throughout. Although, passing people around the turns was probably a bad idea. Still, much faster than my last 800, and I'm looking to be quicker yet next week.
