March 3, 2013 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Ran from veale all alone in the afternoon. I was down on campus for the Core Cram and thought it would be a good idea to run after that. It was. I was kinda dreading doing the run all alone, but I sacked up and headed out. Went up towards NP, then up fairhill and over to Shaker eventually. Took Shaker all the way up to Warrensville. I noticed there were footprints at the usual pee spot, so I followed them, peed and then went on my way. I wonder if someone on the team peed there earlier in the day (If you did let me know). Continued on Chesterton, which is parallel to Warrensville, then took Fairmount all the way back. The wind picked up on that section and it was pretty cold actually. I guess today was supposed to be a progression run. I think naturally, I sped up, but I was not at tempo pace or anything on the way back. The ground was snowy and my legs felt weak at the end. This was one of the better runs this week. Started out feeling pretty good actually. Soreness is starting to turn into strength.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll
Did some striders when I got back, which felt good to shake out, then went into the locker room to stretch. Felt pretty good did a ton of rolling with my stick roller which was painful but needed to be done.
