High Point to Old Sauk to Hidden Cave to Stagecoach to Cricket to Old Sauk to Pioneer to Mineral Point to High Point back-
Today as my Easter treat, I decided to run a new direction: west. The majority of this route was completely new to me and pretty rural. I made a little detour into a neighborhood in the Hidden Cave/Stagecoach/Cricket portion of the run and it was a really nice area with a park and people out walking. It was also right by a Mormon church, so I wonder if it's mostly Mormons? Anyway, the run was pretty cool and has its place on a Sunday afternoon with no traffic and good weather, but this one could be a mess with traffic or rain or snow because I was running on the shoulder for most of it. Out in the section by Pioneer, I ran by a nice-looking park that I imagine has bathrooms open in the summer. Maybe I'll run to them then. The sun was peaking through the clouds for a lot of the run, but for the last mile or so it started sleeting. I ran at the right time.
