High Point to Watts to Gammon to McKenna to Putnam to Capital City trail to SW Bike Path to Raymond to McKenna to Gammon to Watts to High Point-

Despite some drizzle earlier this morning, the sun came out and it became quite nice this afternoon. My stomach was pretty miffed so I didn't time this.

On Gammon on the way out, I saw a lady in a minivan stopped behind a car honking like mad for the car in front of her to move. But what she couldn't see was that the first car was sitting on 3 tires and its owner was sitting against a building calling for help. As I ran by, I couldn't help but laugh at the women angrily honking at a car with no one inside and a flat tire. I really shouldn't have and stopped myself once I recognized the situation wasn't at all funny for the woman with no tire.

The main reason why I selected this route was to run up the ginormous hill on Putnam, so I had that enjoyment. Putnam turned into Williamsburg Way after I crossed Prairie and it started to become a lower income rental area.

On the way back, I changed my mind about my route and took Raymond back so I could stop at the port-a-potty in the park and didn't take Hammersley because Raymond is flatter. On Raymond, I witnessed the second notable incident of the run. I saw a large number of teenagers ahead on the sidewalk and initially thought it might be a block party. When I came closer, it turned out that it was two packs of African American teenagers who were really pissed at each other and cussing each other out. I then decided it was time to cross the street... Everyone let me pass without incident, though I'll admit it was slightly concerning.

This run was interesting in many ways and again explored a new route for me, though it was marred with stomach issues.
