Weather: Clear, mild, bright moon
Comments:
Up at 5am for the weekly long run. Have brought along 2X250ml water bottles and 1 PowerBar gel. Plan on using gel at 1/2 way point to assess if I need them or not. New route, 2 big laps followed by 2 small laps. 100ml H20 at end of 1st lap, Gel and 250ml at end of 2nd lap, final 2 small laps were drink/gel free. Gel made a huge difference to energy and attention levels. Felt like I had had a 10 min break. Legs felt like they had more 'go'. Will definitely use again.
