Another scorcher. It actually rained this morning, but it was still pretty hot in the afternoon. Went with the dogs to the Plantations then ran home via Park Park, Freese trail, up Mt Pleasant and the the trail to the dirt road and home on Dodge. I forgot how long it was, but remapped it out to 4 miles. It was a nice little run, but I was surprisingly tired in the middle. The heat really makes a difference. I was feeling really great on longer runs that this a few weeks ago. This is gonna be a hot summer just like last summer... Dont feel like I am in great running shape at the moment. Not really looking to get into great racing shape, but I want to get into good enough shape where I can do a longish run in the heat and feel good.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, abs
Ok stretch I dont like getting the house all sweaty. Rolling felt great though it has been a while since I got a good roll in. ITs were actually feeling kinda tight today. Also time to get in those abs to build up all the strength I lost in March.
