First mile was slow since we were trying to make sure to not end up going to fast, causing the opposite to happen. Mile 3 was especially difficult, mostly the last half mile. I hurt my knee in basketball yesterday, and I could still feel it going into mile 1 but it subsided the further I got into the run. Also my newish running shoes (About 50 miles on them) seem to be too small as the sides are rubbing up against the sides of my feet, and I am developing burn spots where they scrape up against, so that is something to watch for.
Overall great run as I hit right in the middle of the goal paces.
