Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
We spent most of the day in and around Denver. Kinda cool to finally see some civilization after the barren wasteland of Kansas. Denver was kinda dirty though, and there were lots of bums. I like the smaller cities more. We drove up to camp in Estes Park, which was up in the mountains. We drove through Boulder, but couldnt stop since we wanted to get up to the camp site. Chris really wanted to run in Boulder since it is such a special runnin place. We decided it was too good to pass up, so we ended up driving back down to bouldler to run. It was late in the day, so it was real pretty weather. Took the boulder creek trail down to campus, ran around the football stadium, then got back on the trail to the track, then back. It was kinda a rushed run, but it was still amazing running. Also it felt soo good to get out there and get my legs moving. My IT band was really starting to get tight and feel bad. The run stretched it out. Got back late and are dinner late, which really fucked up my stomach. I got to remember to ear at regular intervals and drink a lot of water, otherwise i get that really bad stomach cramp. Otherwise, a solid run, especially with Chris.
