Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Fit in a short run in the evening. I was in in the morning working on lab, and then stayed and did some group meeting and mentoring stuff, so It was a pretty eventful friday. Didnt have time for a real long run since its Yom Kippur and there is the First years party tonight. Just did a short loop at a pretty quick pace. Went up into SES to go pee real quick on my way back. Felt great to get my legs moving after a few days off. Overall felt relaxed, but IT was feeling a little tight today. Mileage is gonna be low this week I think, but it might settle in to be normally less than 30. I was pretty pumped today thinking about racing a 5k. At this stage in training, its always game time.
Essentials: Stretch, hips, roll
Did stretch inside, and did extensive hips and rolling for the IT, all while playing with Dannie. She is really bored I can tell.
Taking sometime tonight and tomorrow to reflect for Yom Kippur. All in all, I want to continue my mindset from last year, and with a lifestyle and geographical move, that can be tough to maintain. I just need to slow down and take my time to do things right. Running can help that obviously.
