Had a cramp before we even really got started but there wasn't much I could do about that. Coach had us add on a mile this week which I think was good. I felt really relaxed aerobically. My legs are still a little tired and the aforementioned cramp was a bit of a nuisance but I came into this workout with a good mindset and came out with a very consistent run. Felt like crap, but my heart was normal at the end so that wasn't a big worry.
Splits: 6:00 (3:00, 3:00) 5:56 (3:00, 2:56) 5:54 (2:57, 2:57) 5:54 (2:56, 2:58) and 5:54 (2:56, 2:58)
300's: 55, 55, 56
By far the most consistent tempo I've ever run. Definitely helped to have the group there. This tempo is faster than all of my 8k's before last year so that was cool. Looking forward to seeing what's in store for a day when I feel good.
