First run in Boston 4's!

Really the same run as yesterday but a tad slower maybe and shorter. First run in the new racer/trainer hybrids. Not a bad feel at all, just the step is going to take some getting used to since it's a bit bulkier on bottom than the NB minimus I used to have. Please with the shoe though. Overall I was much more tired than yesterday and realized that about 3 miles in. I guess that was to be expected, especially considering my sub 6 mile in the middle of yesterday! Anyways, took it around 6:45 pace for most of the run, and then did a 2:55 half mile at the end of the trail path. Probably not the smartest thing to do. I'll definitely take it easy tomorrow, if I even run at all, and won't throw any speed in. But I want to start getting used to that kind of speed little by little. Hopefully I can race around sub 6 pace in the future. Well, a beautiful day for a run and I had a great cooldown and stretching sesh afterwards, so I'm feeling fine now. Just gotta make sure I get a good rest tonight (it'll be tough since I'm working my first shift at Uncommon Grounds and I go until 1 a.m. tonight!). Let's do a very easy Washington monument run tomorrow.
