Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I think it may be impossible to have three quality days of training in a row. As I just discussed with a teammate, I wake up on the weekends at such embarrassingly late hours, hungry for brunch. I eat, then have to endure some horrible, unproductive waiting, wanting to go out and train and be done with it. There comes a point where I can wait no longer and I leave regardless of my full stomach, making the runs slow and seemingly lower quality. Or I'm just not in the condition I should be in. On the bright side, I charted another new loop, through the neighborhoods off Chesterbrook road and found a massive, Brandywine-esque hill called North River Street, which I ascended with some dignity. I did some Jasonian strength work, with two sets of high-knees for a minute, forty lunges, 70 total pushups, supermen for 2 minutes and a couple sets of squats. All of that seemed quality. I think last week I panicked a little bit with my knee hurting and Glory Days being canceled, but I realized how many more occasions I'll have to race.
