Weather: warm but much better

Comments:
Suzanne Holt and myself are trying out a new training matrix I want to try this week...
1.5 mile warmup...3x1000 meter repeats with 3 minute recoveries and 1.5 mile cooldown.. on tue.and thur we will do it am and pm..wanting to see how we react each day and the benfits or harm it creates...
Day one was tough for me since i ran the 10 miler and rode 17 early this morning.. but i endured through it.
1.8 mile warmup
1) 4:28.. got off to a terrible start on this one.
7:12 pace...pretty bad

2( 4:15.. much better but still off of the pace
6:51 pace was trying to achieve 6:45

3) 3:54.. Much better..thats how it is suppose to be...6:12 more like it...would like to be at 6:00 pace for all 3 each time

12:37 total.. which is 4:12 per 1000 at 6:40 pace OK, but not what it should be...
My knees were very sore today along with with my quad muscles just above the knees along with hips and lower back area... hoping the arthiritis is not moving into those areas..
