Ran with David to Beaumont to do my second workout of the week. Figured it would be good to do it during daylight and before I spend several hours on senior design. Talked about team leadership on the way there.

Felt pretty good in the workout. A little tight/ not super strong endurance-wise for my lower back but everything else felt pretty good. Still need to get my stride back though; didn't feel as powerful or smooth as usual.

Goal pace was 2:47-2:50 per 800 so 2:05.25-2:07.5 per 600. Wound up quick on the first one because I didn't have distances marked normally (the track is like 325m). Last one finally put me in the mental mode I've been missing for a month. I can see myself in a competitive situation again.

Splits: 2:01.8, 2:07.1, 2:05.8, 2:05.2, 2:00.7

Cooldown was a little quick for me but it was so nice outside and everything seemed a little better so I just went with it.
