Pack of Wild Coyotes

December 16, 2013 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 15 Snow

Comments:
The Shell up SW Bike Path to McKee and back -

I debated again running inside, this time not because of the temperature, as without much wind 15 is kind of nice, but because it snowed a couple more inches and nothing was cleared. In the end I decided to head out.

Near where I turned around, the bike path goes through a section of woods somewhat removed from the city and I heard what sounded like a large number of wild coyotes howling. I was slightly concerned because they sounded really close, but none came out of the woods into the open. I debated whether or not I should take a different route back, but I didn't actually know another route under 20 miles so I figured I had to try and go back by. I was relieved not to hear anything on the way back.

With the snow, this run seemed like it took forever, and it practically did.
