Weather: Humid swamp

I strongly dislike Florida. As soon as we got to my parents' friends' house, the very pages of my books started wilting in the humidity. My mood and physical preparedness were not helped by the fact that I had to get up at 4:30 to catch the flight. I left for my run around 11:50 and immediately knew it would not feel good--but perhaps another case of "deciding the run" too soon. A radar detector told me I was running at 9mph, but I doubt this. "Lateral" scissor kicks for 1:00, "vertical" ones for 1:00, 50 lunges, 20 pushups with elbows in (which I do probably 65% of the time, because they apply more to running), another 20 regular. Prone plank on my hands for 3:00. 40 back-bridge leg lifts. This has been a tiring week, even on break. Tomorrow off, workout Monday. I had hoped to do hills, but given my location, fartleks of some kind will suffice.
