As I said to a teammate, this was a failure as a workout, but as a long run, a partial success. I despise Ocean Reef, Florida. I left at 12:26 and the sun grew hotter as I went along. After an approximately ten-minute warmup I did pickups of (about) 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes and 5 minutes with the recovery the length of the next pickup. After this, I was completely lost and slogged back home in the awful weather. After I finally found the landmark four way intersection I took every wrong road to the end of the island before taking the correct one. I did everything I could not to lose my mind. 2 minutes of slow pushups with 20 second intervals, not 10, 20 alternating supermen with and a 1 minute hold, 30 squats, 1:00 six inches, followed by 10 pushups, 1:00 flutter kicks, another 10 pushups, 1:00 scissor kicks, 10 more pushups. Peter Silverman drill for 1:00, 3:00 supine plank. Six quality striders.
