Rec Center Day 1

Exercise Type: Weights

On campus all day. You basically have to work saturdays in grad school. Not a big deal though if you like what you are doing. Had ASPIRE in the morning, droppin some knowledge on the high school kids. It was a lot of fun, made me really miss TAing and teaching. I really like it. Anyways went to the gym around 4ish 5ish to do the new lift set I got. It was still way crowded at that time, and I realized I had no idea where the squat racks were (Its on the second floor), so I had to modify it in the heat of the moment.

Squats 3sets x6 (20lbs DB)
Inverted Row 3sets x8 (20lbs DB)
Stiff leg deadlifts 3sets x10 (20lbs DB)
MB Pushups 3sets x10
Lunges 3sets x10 each leg (10lbs DB)

So yeah everything with a bar I had to use DB and I couldnt find the pullup bar or boxes for step ups. Kinda just threw in another exercise. I still got a decent workout. Went through the motions. With out the bar I focused more on my back and shoulders. Low weights cause I am starting up and I didnt want to do too much. I can make progressions from there once I figure out the routine. Overall lots of fun though goo way to relieve the studying stresses. Back got a good workout today. Got to keep an eye on it since I have had a history with back issues. But if I strengthen it smart and safe, then it should get better.

Standard stretch on the second floor afterwards, making sure my legs are staying fresh.
