Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Huge snow storm came rolling in and stuck around all day. Roads were very bad and we had a snow day. Snow days used to be the shit back in elementary middle and high school. Got to go sleep in, play outside and forget about HW. Not now... I still studied all day like I would have if we didnt have a snow day. It sucked because I like working at Conte and it is hard to work at home. Got a headache as the afternoon rolled around from being cooped so I just had to get outside to go run. Havnt run in a while so this felt really good actually. Ran down Old Amherst Rd to 116 and back, then went down Russell to Brown and back up home. Roads were very slippery but I ran on them ok. Legs felt good and the cold air was refreshing. Also no one was really out so I ran down the middle of the street.
Essentials: Stretch
When I got back, people were clearing their cars out so that they could plow the parking lot. I had perfect timing. I ran inside and quickly dug out and moved my car. I then putzed around a little with Nick and Vijesh helping them dig out. Once I got back inside I didnt really need to stretch all that much so I did a short stretch. Feeling a little better but still feel cooped in my apartment. Hopefully it stops snowing soon so that we can move our cars back. Then I wont need to drive in tomorrow, I can take the bus. Im pretty sure it will be ok.
Otherwise it feels good to get back to exercise. Dont give a crap what the weather is, you can always fit in a run.
