Comments:
I felt amazing at the start. I felt like I had a great warm up. I started off way too fast. I went out with some of the top guys. I went through mile 1 at 6:34 and mile 2 at 6:36. From there, I slowly slowed each mile. I hit my lactate threshold very early in the race. My legs were shot the last 3 miles. The first 7 miles were all under 7 minute miles. My 2nd and last mile were both 8 minute miles. Mile 7-13, the pace got super slow. I felt horrible. I just wanted to stop. After the 3 hour pace team passed me, I was slowing badly, I knew I was gonna end up with something slow. I know this time is slow, but this race doesn't mean much to me. I was hoping for 1:29 to 1;30.
