Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
First attempt at running on a track; first attempt running intervals. great!! ran a couple of warm up laps, then settled into striding the 100m straightaway alternating that with jogging the rest of the lap. way cool. did it about 10 times, just on one straightaway per lap. didn't keep track of too much given it's the first time and i was nervous. felt like crap for the first couple of times then settled in and it was great. ran the straightaways in 21-26 seconds, didn't track the jogging. left side felt a little cranky so i told it to go away, relaxed more, and switched directions. weather was great, cool and drizzly. didn't start coming down hard until i was done. did a cool down lap jogging, then walked a half lap and headed home on the bike. way, way cool. how will i feel tomorrow??
Oh, had the new shoes on. seem fine though left foot was a bit cramped early on.
