Comments:
Greater Cleveland Championship... I was entered in the 400 and 800 and hoping to hit the travel standard in the 4. Well, that plan went out the window when I false-started from lane 2. Almost completely lost my composure there which would have made things even worse. Support from my friends definitely helped but I just had to move on from the 4 without even thinking about it if I was to get myself together for the 8. I listened to angry music for a while which helped me focus a bit. Got on the line and wasn't really afraid of the race at all which was probably good. Don't know my splits but I felt like it was pretty conservative. I went 2:15.06 which is only .02 slower than my PR. No travel standard but bring in PR shape is encouraging. Shoutout to the whole mid-d crew for some really solid races as well. Long cooldown split in two parts.
